Movie Review: Race to Witch Mountain
Race to Witch Mountain was a fun family film that I watched with the kids this past weekend, which also happened to be the last weekend before they headed off to school. It combined adventure, humor, and suspense that appealed to our kids and to the kid in me.
The premise of the story is that a cash strapped taxi driver, played by Dwayne Johnson, is forced to think beyond his job when the two teen runaways, played by Anna-Sophia Robb and Alexander Ludwig, get in his car. The teens, who possess supernatural powers, are forced to work with him and he in turns learns that that there is much more at stake than getting their sizable tip. Through their combined efforts and with a little help from the lovely scientist, Carla Gugino, they are able to beat the odds in the Race to Witch Mountain!
